Stryker blade stamp 9100

I just got an auto stryker With all the features of the new 9101 (4 point clip, open back, and larger firing button) but the blade and box are clearly marked 9100. Could this be a factory error? The knife is identical to the 9101 on the BMK website. Thanks

  I also found this on the one I got not too long ago. The open back is what threw me off first, but it is marked 9100. Hopefully we can get some clarification on this.
