He said the Hunt series is replacing Bone Collector and Lone Wolf... I hadn't realized this before, but Lone Wolf is gone from the 2014 catalog.

    So, no more Lone Wolf?

Man, he didnt want to show that mini Stryker at all.

Love when the guy asked "Whats up w/ all the S30V, you guys use a that a lot?"

Answer: : " Well, w/ the CPM technology and the finite structure of....."

Translation: " Man, we bought a whole $#iT load of that stuff. We dont know what to do w/ it...using it as door stops and paper weights..."

    Thanks for the vid Laser

Mini striker with satin blade was looking good. That HK axis looks like a great knife too, I haven't seen it plain edge yet though. 940-1 really needs some more camera time.

Too true! Same with D2, despite what the interviewer said, actually less D2 in this years Catalogue.

What no questions about S90V or the 940-1 -- totally blew it interview dude

I think that's because the interviewer had no idea what S90V is...

But 154CM and D2 are my favorites...

Seriously, I'll take an M4 LE when I can get one, and think M390 is the cat's meow, but when it comes to knife steels that you can wear out, throw away, and buy another, nothing beats good ole D2 if you don't worry about salt water and 154CM if you do.

With the more exclusive steels, someone who uses his blade moderately will sharpen every three weeks instead of every two...BFD.

Somebody who uses his blades heavily will still need to sharpen every week, regardless of steel.

The only real diff between 154CM and M390 is if you use a blade professionally all day, and it will reduce your sharpenings from twice a day to once a day.

I think this year is a huge leap forward from last, substance wise. Everything looks great, I don't see a ugly duck in the bunch, might be some personal tweaks others would like to see materials wise but I think they are all solid.

    Both are great!

The 531 may be the best knife I have seen in a long time.

I got to play with one and talk to Mel Pardue about it and I is a pure great knife.

The love the old 530 but the change in the grind makes it an almost perfect very useful knife.
