Looks very nice. I'm going to get it as soon as "first production" markings are gone..

Any worried about the "first production" markings might be interested to know that the markings appear to have been lasered on there and then the blades were stone washed. They are the lightest markings I've ever seen.

Also, some worry that first production knives need time for the bugs to be worked out. Mine is mechanically perfect. I think they've figured out how to make a 940.

I pre ordered mine from BHQ, no "first production" on mine. So they are probably already gone I would guess

My local ACE Hardware has 4 of these in stock. The one on display is has no first production markings.

For some reason, I dont mind the numbers on this one. In fact, I like my number.

I dont mind the numbers either .......mines a user.
The number is so faint , you cant really see it till you flip it in the light.
I have an un-numbered one in the safe .........LOL
