Thumb Stud Question

Quick question for you all: anyone know the thread pitch of Benchmade thumb studs? I keep having and issue with the clip side thumb stud on my contego catching the pocket seem and partially opening. Though I would just get a small torx button head screw to replace the threaded thumb stud but can't seem to find the right pitch.

  Not sure what you mean by "pitch". I had the same trouble w/ the 950 clip side stud catching on my pocket when drawn. Changed the studs to the standard style, lower profile. Seemed to solve the issue.
  
  Really like the 950 studs, swapped them w/ the 615. Lend themselves to the Mini Ruk quite nicely. Happy, happy.
  
  There is also the option of a one sided stud as found on the 890 and the like. I think all BM studs are pretty interchangeable. Some who know more may chime in.

  Think he means the screw designation... eg, 2-56, 4-40, etc.
  
  He just needs to know the diameter and thread count per inch to figure out what kind of screw he can drop into the female stud to make it a single-side stud.
  
  Unfortunately, I don't know what they use.
