Blade steel question
What kinda steel in the blade of a 1998 905 Stryker???? I've heard ats34 or 154cm

Im pretty sure it's ATS-34. However, they are virtually the same steels. Just ATS-34 is made in Japan and 154CM is made in the USofA.
On the other hand, I may be totally wrong.

I'm pretty sure you are right. 1998 would have been before Benchmade switched to 154CM. I don't think they used anything else on a 905.0 -
I think any 905 that is has 154cm is listed that way. if there is no markings then it is ats-34. Some were marked as ats-34 as well. 0 -

The 1998 model is ATS-34 as already stated.

Thanx for the reply.I've had this knife for year never knew anything about it till I had to replace clip screws all I knew is she cut HV cable very well
