My Current Carry Rotation

I've gradually switched my carry knives over to Benchmade exclusively with all but one being Axis knives. I carry different knives based on what I'm wearing and what I anticipate doing with a knife of a given day.

Here's my current lineup. I have several other Benchmades that I don't really carry.

The Megumi is my suit and tie "gentlemen's knife."
The 530 with Contego clip is my office carry with khakis or slacks.
The 710 in M390 and NRA Gaucho spilt duty for my regular casual carry with jeans.
The Mini Grip is what I carry in the summer with shorts.
The Rift is my "outdoors" folder.

Never much cared for the 940. The Osborne Gaucho is basically a cousin to the 940/943 and fills a similar role. I much prefer the Gaucho's blade shape and more heavily textured scales.

Yep, I love it. I generally don't care for tantos but the blade on the Gaucho is really more of it's own thing. I've been trying to talk Benchmade into bringing it back with a butterfly logo and M390 steel.

The Goucho takes very nicely to a regrind or stone work if you don't mind recurve blades.

Don't like opening holes. I've owned a few, a couple of them Benchmades, and I just prefer thumb studs. I've got a couple dozen other knives and no holes among them. Occasionally, I'll trying giving one a shot again, but I always sell or trade them off in short order.
