Doesn’t look very lefty-friendly. Cannot flip the pocketclip? Making up for doing a lefty-friendly Nakamura with the 486? 0 -

Must have! way to go BM 0 -
/|\ Great materials & clean look.
Like Chip said not Lefty friendly, so my $$$ stay in pocket.0 -
That’s awesome! Very cool little piece. 0 -
Totally lefty friendly. Strong side for your side arm. Weak side for the knife. 0 -
Back left pocket, and flippers are totally ambi!

Wow.
Not sure if it’s for me yet.
But nicely done!0 -
I’d love to see that pocket clip in it’s entirety... 0 -

/|\knives need to be ambidextrous. I’d imagine most on duty LEOs would prefer a much larger folder as a backup & Benchmade has several that fit the bill.
This looks like it best for a watch pocket knife for city / states with very strict blade limitations. This knife blade length to weight ratio is poor & if there are no blade restriction so many better options for my needs in BKC line up.
I do applaud BKC trying to meet needs of sub-3” crowd, like me. I’ve needed to carry sub-3” for work for 40 years & have been in a quest for best sub-3” for all those years. Quite frankly their far & few between.
BKC has two great knives that could be turned into great minis. A mini Bugout & a 945 ( a 940 sized down to 75%) Warren Osborne designed it over 15 years ago.0 -
I’ll buy one to make sure I want one of Shane’s customs. Yay!! 0 -

Thanks Jason!
That looks awesome.
I’ll most definitely pick one up.0 -
Lots of little detail pieces on this li'l fella.
The blue PVD is really cool-looking, too, on the pivots, spacers, and clip. The spine is crowned towards the handle, which is a nice touch, IMHO.0 -

Oh yeah.
Your pic really makes it look nice.
I’ve never had a sub 2” flipper.
This will be a welcome first.
Very cool.0 -
You'll have to let me know what you think. I like mine. Basically a fun, useful fidget spinner. Hahaha. 0 -
(sigh...)
We've had the Mini Pocket Rocket, now we have a MICRO Pocket Rocket...Can we have a Pocket Rocket, please?

I’m a sucker for Ti and Sibert. I’ll buy one, and start saving $$$$.
Because I’m sure there will be a gold class version. I’m guessing Damascus, with show side marbled carbon fiber, with some other frills to boot. But just guesses.
Might not be the most practical carry, but the cool factor is HIGH.
Jason, can we get lock details? Is this the hex lock face, or hex stop pin, or steel or carbidized lock face, or some cool new thing?0 -
Oops, now I see the hex stop pin in the photo you posted with the pocket clip. Awesome. I like that config.
Any other details about the lock? Bearings or washers?0 -
gonna be on the facebook live beer thing here in a bit they say 0 -
It's actually just a Ti lock face. I've been experimenting with geometry to try to get smoothness without carbidizing and/or inserts. I think it worked fairly well, honestly.
It does indeed have bearings on steel washers in the handles. Better wear, but still smooth.
And yeah, it'll be on the Facebook beer thing.

Awesome. I’m excited. Guess I’ll have to run and grab some cold-pops real quick and tune in.0 -
Thanks for the additional pics and info Jason. This one is sure to be a hit. May be my first non-Axis Benchmade too. 0 -
I’m pretty sure this is a must buy for me.
This lil guy’s blade is thick!!0 -
Intrigued by this... 0 -
Should name it the TOAD! 0 -

I can vouch on this. So smooth.0 -
This looks like a pinch grip masterpiece!! To me it looks like a highly useful utility flipper.. the fact that it's a sibert design backed by lifesharp puts it on the must have list! Looks great! Thank you Shane and benchmade! Release date? 0
