Like it a lot. Kind of a Midi-Crooked River.

    Steel liners, aluminum scales?

    Hey, Keyman...!

Like the name...vallation - An earthwork wall used for military defense; a rampart.

    This knife is a monster.

If it were a food, it'd be a beefcake.

    Blade thickness 0.124"?

Gotta be 0.15" to be in beast territory.

Like the "Mohawk" though. There is more than one way to create tip strength. Very cool direction for Benchmade to go in.

Untrue! The blade only needs to be as thick as it needs to be, so long as it's not the weak spot. You wouldn't want to sacrifice your slice-y-ness!

I call it the "T-point" blade style.

We concur with our engineer. This one is a heavy hitter. And we have Karma Points now so you can take our word for it.

/|\ OK now that 10,000 Karma points have been awarded your infallible , ( hehe one day a no nothing & now genius all because of Karma points). All too funny to pass up.

Me I’m buy knives (a cutting instrument) not a chisel, pry bar or spade). If your using your knife for anything but a cutting tool it is either :

    1) not a good day at the beach & if gets you even broken that is OK or
    2) your to lazy to go to the tool shed to get the proper tool.

I really like that blade and the size is right in my sweet spot, but I'm not sure how I feel about it being assisted.
