    It's not just you.
The 806 has mystical elements of unknown origins, some say it dates back to the ancient lost continent of Atlantis, some say it has connections to the ancient and holy city of Jerusalem during the time when the Ark Of The Covenant disapeard, some even place it's origins to Mount Sinai when Moses was given the Ten Commandments and some say it has something to do with ancient human sacrifice rituals at Stonehenge, your guess is as good as anybody else.

Nobody knows this but when the Da Vinci code was actually broken it spelled out

It is one of, if not the most, my favorite Benchmade knives.

Thats why I dont want to sell my 806-1101. I love that uncoated knife with its M390 blade. mmmmm

I talked to Benchmade the other day about bringing back the 805 or 806 with the standard black scales and M390 blade. We would have to find a dealer that would be willing to do it. They said the minimum number they would have to order would be about 150.

I don't think that would be a problem.

I hate to rain on the parade...... But....
KW has tried about every year after the BM/KW M390 805 and 806 and believe those are off the table.

If it were only that easy..... The new min is way over 150.
I believe KW would do the min run of 1000 if it were possible.

But I have been wrong before.... And hope I am wrong this time!
    Big Grin

Please sign me up for 3 or 4 of the 150 run!
    Thanks!

That's weird. I don't understand why benchmade would be against knifeworks doing another 805/806 run.

    He sells all he gets
    Confused

No slab handles for me...don't care what the steel. 'Course I already have a 806-1101, so maybe I should but out...

Not to mention that if the run was only 150, these knives would cost about $400 apiece.

You just shattered my dreams. LoL. Oh well I guess I will just try to find one of the limited edition 806/805's and buy black scales separately.

Yeah, if I have 806-1101 I don't want to sell it either.

No doubt 806 with M390 is superb combination.

My 806-1101 is so buttery smooth, I can almost will the blade to open, yet there's no blade-play, whatsoever. Amazing.

I rarely carry it much, because I might actually need to use it. I carry my "user" instead - my thumb-holed 805-1101. In fact, I think it's time for this thread to have some pics!

I will buy at least two of any new release of the 806 (as long as it's below $250 a unit).

If someone makes a Limited Edition Axis-lock Mini-AFCK, I would also buy at least two. I might take out a loan and buy several more.

    Make that three.

I would take another 800 w/a liner lock as well.

    Great knife.
