Help to recognize the BM710
Hello comrades!
Recently I became the owner of the rare knives BM710. And the question: what kind of knife in the center (1st BM710-2, 3rd BM710-3)?
The seller said the following: "BM710 with cocobolo wood prototype - is very rare, its never been show officially I bought this concept knife from an Benchmade employee, this is one of the kind prototype, I have not seen him ever more"
Can you tell me the model of BM710?

The top one is a 701-02, and the bottom one is a 710-03. The extra 0 in the model number can mean the difference between 2 completely different knife versions.
The middle one might be something that never made it into even limited production. Judging by the picture, style, and color choices, I'd have to guess it would be a 710BW. They made a 705 in that exact same configuration The BW stands for Bubinga Wood.
Here is a picture of the 705BW version.

Thank you Patryn.
I am also inclined to the version that is unreleased 710BW. I also wrote to a Benchmade, if the Benchmade will answer something interesting, I'll write0 -
Patryn, you are amazing. 0 -

"I have listed the response I was given below…
I’m assuming that a few were made up for Sales/Marketing to evaluate as potential projects. Any of those knives are on display in the fishbowl upstairs or were sold at the employee sale.
I included a picture of the 705BW for reference. The sample in the photo was most likely made at the same time as the 705.
Hope that helps.
