    Yes.

Burning G10 is toxic, so we've done it before, but we don't do it regularly. It has to be done with a laser that has its own filters and exhaust system.

Don't really know about plastic, but I'd assume it would have the same requirements.

/|\ That would be grievously dangerous

Although maybe not what you were referring to, DoAT milled my name into a set of G10 940 scales. If the G10 has layers of different colors, it comes out pretty well.

Yeah, milling would be the ultimate. I don't know where I got the idea Benchmade might do laser etching on handles. Maybe I saw a pic of an experiment on a Alumimun handle or something...

We'll do custom marks on aluminum handles, but nothing else.

What about the pivot of a Crooked River or mini?

Will we mark the pivot rings? No, I don't believe so. I don't actually know though. They're usually marked assembled.

That could be kinda cool though.

Not much to lasermark on the pivot rings so would be difficult get anything clear on the rings.

Yeah it'd have to be sort of a randomized texture sort of deal. Nothing specific.

I was really thinking the pivot itself. Small symbol on there. Obviously on the opposite side of the torques. Maybe even on the push button of an auto.

You could mark that material, sure. I don't think we do that though.

I'm a little late to this topic, but had to say I'll be forever grateful to Benchmade for lasermarking my Bradley Alias II. This was about 8 years ago. Considering what I paid at the time, they really went above and beyond.
