551BK – S30V, crackle etching, silver twill/peel ply G-10 Deathgrip handle
Wanted to create a custom grade Griptilian with this one. Silver twill G-10 bolster inlayed on peel ply G-10 scales. Great look, great grip for use. Silver twill G-10 back spacer. S30VBK blade is from a custom shop 551. Went with the crackle etching pattern to try to get a Damascus-like look to the blade. Fantastic knife. Solid, smooth. Equally good as a dress knife or EDC. Virtually never carried.

Carried very lightly. New condition. Presentation grade Desert Ironwood scales by Keyman. Black G-10 back spacer. Slightly thicker than stock scales, gives the knife a heftier more custom feel. Original gray G-10 scales and orange G-10 spacer included. Blade marked First Production 55 of 400.
CU585BK – S30V blade, 586-1401 SHOT Show LE handle, Grn/blk G-10, OD custom shop spacer
586-1401 SHOT Show LE handle. S30V blade is from a custom shop 585BK, also swapped in the OD back spacer from the CU585BK. Gorgeous little knife. New condition. At least $250 invested.

The ultimate custom user. Has a fantastic convex edge on the D2 blade. Handle is milled G-10 from Bladescales.com. Outstanding grip.
551BKODD2
Basically a standard 551ODD2, but the blade is actually from a custom shop Grip. The skulls etching was an early experiment with the custom laser etching service. Blade is in like new condition. Handle has my usual smoothing done on the outside ridges. Pocket clip shows a bit of wear (from another knife). Great working EDC for half the price of a Cabela’s.
665BK APB, Keyman custom OD/Blk Diamond pattern G-10 scales and backspacer
The APB has a very ergonomic handle, and a superb blade profile. This one is upgraded with Keyman scales, OD/Blk diamond pattern G-10. OD/blk G-10 back spacer. The texture on the scales is surprisingly comfortable. The deep diamond pattern actually seems to increase the contact surface area making the knife MORE comfortable to use instead of less. Handle edges are smooth. The lock and the assist made some people uneasy, but it is essentially an Axis lock with a different actuation mechanism, so it is solid and reliable. This knife will make an outstanding hard use knife for a glove compartment or tool box. Only asking what I paid for the custom scales and back spacer. Knife is included free.
