560 handle scale options?

I know it's soon because it's a relatively new model but anyone hear of any leads on availability of optional or custom handle scales for the 560 from any sources? The 560 just doesn't work for me as is with its rubberized grips.

I got one word for you...see Keyman.

I'm sure Deathgrips will be tooling up for them eventually, as well, but that might be a wait...

Actually, I would be surprised if all the current aftermarket sources didn't start producing scales for the 560 pretty quickly, and the knife clearly begs for them. Watch KSF, bladescales.com, etc.

As you can see folks, I don't frequent the board much. After all said and done, I just couldn't warm up to the 560 and sold it. The handle scales were just too awful. Bought another Ritter 552 and love it.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions. I sincerely hope the new rubber grips are not Benchmade's move forward on a majority of their offerings of the future.

Hello Everyone,

Hope the Holidays were great for all. I am new to the Benchmade owners and enthusiasts community and first time owner of a benchmade blade.

I own several other knives from spyderco and CRKT but never had the honor to own a benchmade.

I was gifted a 560 Freek and i love the overall design, however as with many other people will agree the handle scales on the Freek are poorly designed in my opinion. Bulky, aesthetically unappealing, and from a function point of view not geared for EDC.

I am hoping that you more knowledgeable members can suggest a place to acquire aftermarket scales for the 560 freek from either a company online or a private maker.

We have several members who make custom handles (lots of pics in section below), but only seen the one done by Keyman.
