What do the letters AFO stand for? Been looking at The AFO II and have not seen what they mean/

I couldnt swear by this but to me it means Automatic folding opener ........
Do Not take this to heart though ......I honestly dont know.

Pretty sure it's armed forces only. It's a great blade. Carried mine for about 4 years every day. Loved it.

Yes, I really like the AFO II design. I think it is a beautiful knife.

Ten years ago, people used to post regularly that a manual version of the AFO would be the shiz.

I recently picked one up at the local Fun Shop and really like the knife. I wont EDC this knife but I didnt buy it for that purpose. I am a kayaker and will be carrying this knife on the river and when I am camping. This thing is built like a tank, very pleased. I am looking at the new CLA next, anybody out there have one?

I just picked one up on friday, the 9052 plain satin tanto, and absolutely love it. It wasn't even my favorite I picked up over the weekend though, the 484-1 took first in that race.
