Still sounds nice, just as long as they don't change the M390.

As soon as there's a proto I'll get pictures posted. This knife has been a long drawn out process to get created. Myself, Dad and Matt have been talking about this for a couple of years now. Finally looks like it's for real. Hope it's as nice as what we're picturing in our heads.

Paul, thanks to you and your Dad, and Matt. Cool project, lots of work and trouble, but we appreciate it.
I've e-mailed Matt to ask for #55 to match my LE Presidio's.

    e-mailed for #4.
Not sure if it went through though?
I hit send and it popped back to a blank message screen?
Either way, I am good for it.

Just got off the phone with Matt.
    Great guy, very helpful.
Proto's have still not been received.
So, we're still a little ways out on these.
Reserved my #87! We will hear more when Matt does.
He's waiting on these just like us.
    So, try to be patient.

    Thanks for the update Keyman.
Did he mention getting e-mails for number requests? If he did I wouldn't want to bother him any further, hopefully he has a simple way (read: little effort on his part) to keep track of the numbers that have been requested.

    Yup,
I was calling to confirm. He already had my email and my number requests. So no worries.

    Big Old Boy,

Are you sure you want # 4 as it actually does mean "Bad Luck" in Chinese Numerology..LOL
    Wink

This actually sounds like a nice knife, the 707 is a lot of blade in small package..

If thats the case, I am the most unlucky guy here..... LOL LOL

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N...s_in_Chinese_culture

    FourMain article: Tetraphobia
Number 4 (四; accounting 肆; pinyin sì) is considered an unlucky number in Chinese because it is nearly homophonous to the word "death" (死 pinyin sǐ). Due to that, many numbered product lines skip the "4": e.g. Nokia cell phones (there is no series beginning with a 4),[6] Palm[citation needed] PDAs, Canon PowerShot G's series (after G3 goes G5), etc. In East Asia, some buildings do not have a 4th floor. (Compare with the Western practice of some buildings not having a 13th floor because 13 is considered unlucky.) In Hong Kong, some high-rise residential buildings omit all floor numbers with "4", e.g. 4, 14, 24, 34 and all 40–49 floors, in addition to not having a 13th floor. As a result, a building whose highest floor is number 50 may actually have only 35 physical floors. Singaporean public transport operator SBS Transit has omitted the number plates for some of its buses whose numbers end with '4' due to this, so if a bus is registered as SBS***3*, SBS***4* will be omitted and the next bus to be registered will be SBS***5*. Note that this only applies to certain buses and not others and that the final asterisk is a checksum letter and not a number. Another Singaporean public transport operator SMRT has omitted the '4' as the first two digit of the serial number of the train car for (North South and East West) Lines as well as the SMRT Buses NightRider services.
