915 triage

I found a triage that said US Patant No 6,438,848 on the blade which is different than I have seen on others any input on if it is real would be appreciated.

  One of my friends bought it and it threw me off having a different patent number on the blade than mine. Mine has pantent number RE41259 and mine also has benchmade written on the hook but I found the earlier post about that.
