Does anyone know if the blades can be swapped between these two?

I believe so , but why do that the handles are the same. 0 -
Then again I might not know what Iam talkin about ..........LOL 0 -
There's an 814 for sale with custom liners, and the originals. My 812 needs a new lock side liner.
If it's a direct swap, I'll buy it just to hopefully fix my 812.0 -
Again dont take my word here .........the 814 might be a bigger knife.
Ask the blade length of the 814 , that will tell you.
I believe now the 800 and 814 are the same ......one had a round hole and one had an oval hole .......Iam all confused now.0 -
Uh oh, now you got me concerned, I thought both were mini's. 0 -
I do know for sure the 800 has a round hole and the the 804 has an oval hole ........
So the 814 is the mini like the 812 , same knife just different hole.
I just google it.0 -
The 812 and the 814 are the same size.
The 812 had the round thumb hold, where the 814 was the oval.
I don't see any reason why there would be a difference.
The 800 which is the larger knife, became the 805 /806.0 -
800/804 are the same size.
812/814 are the same size.0 -
Welp, since no one knows for sure, I'll have to gamble and find out.

The only difference between the 812 and the 814 was round vs. oval hole. Nothing in the handle changed.0 -

You would think so, but...
Here are two 812's
Aside from the blade alloy, there are at least 5 more parts and manufacturing differences.
But yes, in this case the 2 blades pictured above can be swapped.0 -
