Triage with O2 wrench
There was a thread a while back where we brought up adding an O2 wrench to the 915 Triage. How can we get Benchmade to do this?
I sent a suggestion to my supervisor to order the Triage for EMTs at my agency. He retorted that he has seen some other knife that has an O2 wrench on it, so he prefers that one. It is probably some cheap POS made in China. I don't want that. I don't like knives and tools made in China. One of the things I like about Benchmade knives is that they are made in the USA.
Just put an O2 wrench on the Triage already. Do it. Do it.

Triage thread was here:

Also 10Blk hock, which I feel it can use O2 wrench as well.

The other thread was about changing the blade steel. I just want the O2 wrench. Would't it be simple to change? Just mill out part of the liners and G10?
We have standalone O2 wrenches but they tend to get lost. Since I always carry a knife, I would never be without an O2 wrench. That would make the Triage into the perfect work tool for me.0 -

The gut hock / rescue cutter does not lock in to the position, so I feel it is precarious at best.
Are you thinking to mill out / punch out in liner?0 -

Ooooh! Do that!
There's a purpose driven project...
I hope you decide to try that and show us how you made out.0 -

I have neither the tools nor the skill to punch out or mill out anything. I just want Benchmade to produce the tool I need.0 -

I hear that. I'm not even an EMT and I want Benchmade to produce this tool.0 -
I'm not sure why I didn't think of this Max while we were writing.
You may not have the skill/tools but we have skilled members in this forum.
Keyman and DOAT come to mind.
Once completed send pictures to BM. It's a triage knife and needs every little innovation they can incorporate into it.0 -

Per Bill, I think DOAT has CNC to mill it out. The question is where it should have the hold of the wrench.0
