Requesting input on CLA Drop Point..
To be clear, even though I finally got off my ass and joined this board, I've been a looooooong time owner and carrier of various Benchmade blades over the years. However, I never popped on one of their auto's until now.
I've ooo'd and aah'd over the tacti-cool factor of the Infidel and the Pagan, and the longevity and versatility of the Stryker and AFO. Although the Rift was a solid second place, I've finally decided to pop on a CLA drop point:

For any of you that currently have one and/or have had and carried it, please feel free to provide any/all input.
Thanks in advance,
-TRM

Welcome.
I have a 4300-1. It's fantastic. Light weight and comfortable. Strong action. The only auto I've kept.0 -

Awesome input, thank you; sounds like I made the right choice
.
Anybody else?0 -
What Jon said. Great knife. I would add, beautiful classic lines. I like it better than the Griptilian. If it were an Axis lock, it would be in my top five rotation. 0 -

I originally owned the Auto Rift but eventually give it to my brother as a gift on his birthday. Just quit carrying due to size and roughness on my hands when going into my pocket. Getting old man hands. Well I’m back, just purchased the CLA auto. Smaller profile and smoother scales. Just right. Good looking knife. 0 -
I love my CLA! I've had it over a year and it was my first benchmade. I've since bought a 940, (2) 707's, and a north fork. I love all of them and do carry them, but I always revert back to the CLA. I use it and do not treat it as pocket jewelry. It looks just as good as the day I got it. The blade shape, weight, and size are about as close to perfect as it gets for EDC. Even though it's perfect for me, I still keep buying more! It's a sickness.... 0 -

Love the CLA such a great size an light in the pocket but plenty sturdy for most needs. Perfect for me as an EDC. I liked my 4300-SBK so much I picked up a 4300-1 also.
