New Adamas?
I had a dream last night where I was shopping for knives. There was a new improved model Adamas with rounder edges on the scales. Nothing like that exists, right?

Definitely a dream.
BTW I love my Adamas Auto and the only change I would recommend is a more aggressive texture on the scales to prevent slipping.0 -
What I like about the Adamas is that it's smooth, which makes it comfortable to handle and carry, yet it's chalk full of jimped areas where you can get a solid grip and avoid slipping.
What I'd really like to see is a new 275 variant with a satin blade (M390 would be amazing).
What's that you say? Carbon fiber scales on the Adamas?? With a satin blade?!

The bigger question is why am I having dreams about shopping for knives? Isn't that weird? I have been xonsidering a few knives lately, including the Adamas and the Loco. Maybe that is why they came up in a dream. 0 -

Well, the scales are G-10 which means they can easily be modified by the owner. Between the jimping, holes, and grooves, the 3D contoured scales, and generally superb shape of the handle, I'm not sure how the grip could be improved. Go at it with some 60 grit paper or something maybe...
Next version or LE I wanna see is an M4 version, mebbe with some of that blk/grn G-10.0 -

Hehehe, that's the way I feel too. BUT, 'stage's graphic and some scales done by Keyman in CF look awesome.

BKC would have to do a serious material upgrade for me to consider purchasing another 275.. It's such a heavy knife (7.70 oz).. I like to wear shorts on my off-days, so it feels like a brick in your pocket.
I only carried it a few times when I first picked it up... It currently sits in my vehicle's go-bag.0 -

Me too. But the 275 has been iconic in the lineup and justly deserves a GC appearance one day.

I would prefer an uncoated/Satin M4 blade in standard dress. Something I would buy and use.

Vicar has S30V satin blade. As much as Adamas is LEO/AFO heavy duty knife, matching D2, but S30V is not far from it. Something of the characteristics of M390 is being missed is that it is not as tough as S30V or 154cm.0 -

I was just hoping for something uncoated, as it'd give the Adamas some more variation over only producing it in blackout motif.
Sand coloration is out for me, never was attracted to it.
I like the looks of the current 275, but a premium stainless steel with satin finish is something I'd be really happy about, and wouldn't lose any sleep over sacrificing a bit of toughness.
It's just a looks thing, the Adamas already excels as is.0 -
