Balisong for EDC?

Anyone EDC a balisong? If so, what have your experiences been with it in public? I live in Illinois and I just found out balisongs are (surprisingly) legal here so I though about possibly picking one up.

I would carry one if it was legal for me to do so. Strongest folding knife lock, ever. ..Just not worth confiscation and or a weapons charge.

Id carry one in a heartbeat if I could..Really want to try a 62..

I always carry a 43 or 42 unless I am at work.

I used to carry Balisong when I lived in a state that is OK to carry. Unfortunately, in my state, it is not allowed

The 32 and the 53 both make excellent EDC knives. Especially the 32. Very light and versatile. Wish I could carry it every day.

There's a bunch of sweet blades I'm missing out on.
Love my country, but the knife laws here are ludicrous, IMO.

I was just in Alberta and I must admit that your guns laws made me nervous. There were signs at multiple trailheads saying grizzlies had been seen actively feeding in the area and there was not a firearm in sight.

To not go completely off topic, while balisong carry is legal in Virginia, I don't.

Well, if they aren't going to start making 49s with the kris blade again, they might as well go with a Bali-Bedlam.

Besides, you open it and either wrap the handle with leather or get someone to make a g10 sleeve to slide over the handle in the open position and BOOM FIXED BEDLAM.
